What we collect
The Contrast Index doesn't ask you to create an account or give us your name, email address or payment details. We don't sell personal information.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use the site: which pages they visit, how they arrived, roughly where they are (city or region level), what device and browser they use, and which links they click, including links to brand websites. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect this information. Google processes it under Google's Privacy Policy.
You can opt out of Google Analytics on all websites with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.
Affiliate links
Some links to brand websites may be affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the brand or its affiliate network may use cookies to record that the sale came from this site, and we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Those cookies are set by the brand or network, not by us, and are covered by their own privacy policies. Commissions never affect which products we list or how we order them; see How we rate.
Links to other websites
Brand and source links take you to websites we don't control. Their privacy practices are their own.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes basic request data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
Children
The site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
